Building materials category · China to Cuba
Ceramic floor tiles are a building-materials line for Cuban hardware importers and tile distributors. Size, finish and wear rating are agreed per order.
Category description
We supply vitrified ceramic floor tiles from Guangdong and Fujian tile factories, in the sizes and finishes that match the Cuban retail and project market — 600 × 600 mm and 800 × 800 mm, polished or matte. Tiles are a low-value, high-weight cargo, so the commercial decision is the loading plan: how many cartons fit in a container against the confirmed carton weight. We agree the size, the thickness, the water absorption and the wear rating on the contract, verify the production sample against those limits, and confirm the packed carton weight at inspection before the container is loaded.
Every shipment is quoted against a confirmed specification, packed to the format agreed for your channel, and documented so the Cuban side can clear it without guesswork.
Technical specification

Shipment handling
Two tiles per carton with corner protection and polystyrene edge guards, strapped to a pallet, with the batch and shade number printed on the carton.
Square metre, carton, pallet, or FCL 20ft / 40ft. We quote by the carton or by the square metre.
Tiles are loaded by confirmed weight, not by carton count: a 20ft container carries approximately 14–18 MT and a 40ft high-cube approximately 28–30 MT.
Size and thickness check on the sample, water absorption and PEI rating verification against the test report, shade consistency across the sampled cartons, and packed carton weight confirmation.
Certificate of origin and the product test report. The format, size and finish stated on the licence must match the contract and the packing list.
Clearance pack
Our Cuban team checks the licence description against the contract before loading, so the paperwork on arrival matches what the licence says.
